    TOKYO, July 28, 2021 – U.S. gymnasts Brody Malone of Belfast, Tenn., and Sam Mikulak of Newport Coast, Calif., were 10th and 12th, respectively in the men’s all-around competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games Wednesday at Ariake Gymnastics Centre. Mikulak, who is competing in his third Olympics, posted an 83.164, finishing just behind Malone who notched an 84.465 across all six apparatus.

Malone, who collected NCAA team and all-around championships in April, captured the U.S. senior men’s all-around title with a 170.700 across two days of competition and earned a second gold medal on vault.     INDIANAPOLIS, March 3, 2021 – USA Gymnastics today announced the addition of eight gymnasts to the U.S. Men’s National Team. These individuals were named to the team by the Men’s Program Committee who considered results from last weekend’s Winter Cup in addition to submitted petitions. They join the ten gymnasts who automatically qualified to the team through their performances at Winter Cup. All 18 gymnasts have been named to the National Team through the 2021 U.S. Championships in June.
