Gold Technique: Round-Off Entry Vault Drill

Tony Gehman, Owner of North Stars Gymnastics in Boonton, NJ, takes us through a drill to work on a round-off vault entry. This drill uses a long plank beam, a panel mat and a resi pit. By using the beam, it prevents gymnasts from anticipating the turn and forces the round-off to be straight. Tony also offers a variation using panel mats on the vault runway.
