Laurie Hernandez and her "Dancing with the Stars" partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, were nothing short of incredible as they danced in the season 23 finale on Monday night.

On night one -- the performance night -- of the two-part finale, the duo performed a Paso Doble and a freestyle dance.

They scored a 38 out of 40 for this Paso Doble to "Wicked Ones" by Dorothy:

They closed out the night with a freestyle to "Brand New" by Ben Rector and earned a perfect 40 out of 40:

Laurie posted this adorable compilation of photos on Instagram, writing that she has enjoyed every second that she's had on the show with Val.

Throughout the season, Val has become like a big brother for Laurie and has been instrumental in her post-Olympics growth. He wrote on Instagram that she has blossomed from a "sweet lil nugget" into a "beautiful, strong young woman."

The champions of season 23 will be crowned Tuesday at 9 PM ET on ABC. To vote for Team Valaur, visit ABC.comFacebook, or call 1-800-868-3407.
