The day we've all been fearing has finally arrived. The final day of the 2016 Olympic Games is upon us and we are all extremely emotional.

The final day of activity was as busy as ever and we can't thank our gymnasts enough for sharing their journeys with us from the very beginning. Here are today's top social media posts from closing time in Rio.

Simone Biles was announced as Team USA's flag bearer for the closing ceremonies and the hype is oh so real.




Even Zac Efron is stoked for Simone's big moment.



The ladies of Team USA finally got in a sun-filled beach day!




Simone ended meeting up with Brinn Bevan for some pool time!



And she also met Mo Farah!
