Alexandra “Aly” Raisman is an elite and Olympic gymnast from Needham, Massachusetts, who trains at Brestyan’s American Gymnastics. Aly is a two-time world champion and three-time Olympic medalist.
After winning a gold medal on floor at the 2012 London Olympics, Raisman became the most decorated female American gymnast at those Games. In London,she was team captain and helped lead Team USA to a team gold. She also won a bronze medal on beam.
Raisman is best known for her powerful and difficult tumbling on floor, where her signature opening pass includes a double arabian punch front combination. The Massachusetts native also excels on beam and is known for her rock solid routines.
