Coach Ed Burch on Observing Soviet Gymnasts in the 80's

Ed Burch is the owner and head coach of Gold Medal Gymnastics in New Mexico. During the 1980's, Burch had the opportunity to travel around the world with the USA National team. The trip that was most influential to Burch and his visit to Russia where he observed the Soviet gymnasts in training. He brought many of the skills and combinations back to the United States as was seen in the first gymnast Buch coached to an Olympic Games, Lance Ringnald in 1988.
