Three in a Row For The University of Illinois at Windy City Invitational
The University of Illinois was crowned Windy City Champions for the third year in a row posting a 412.15, over 8 points above 2nd place Ohio State (403.45), with Minnesota finishing 3rd (397.60). This was the first competition with the new FIG (Federation of International Gymnastics) adjusted scoring system. Following every Olympics, the Code of Points changes, and therefore, for the 2017-2020 quad, the max score for all events, with the exception of the vault (.4 lower), is .5 lower then the 2016 code.
