This past weekend eleven countries competed in the 2013 World University Games. As we watched Russia's spectacular ten point domination of the women's team finals, it got us thinking… if the USA were to send their own team of NCAA gymnasts, who would make the list?

Russia Goes 1-2 in 2013 World University Games All Around

Despite a fall on beam, Russia's Aliya Mustafina came out on top in the women's all around final at the 2013 World University Games in Kazan. Mustafina's all around score of 57.900 was bolstered by a 15.200 on uneven bars, the highest score of the day on any event. With the fall on her double turn (and missing the connection from her onodi) Mustafina scored exactly one point less in the all around than in qualifications.
