INDIANAPOLIS, February 24, 2021 – USA Gymnastics has engaged RealResponse, a web-based communications platform, to provide National Team members and elite-track athletes from all disciplines an easy-to-use communications tool to instantly share anonymous feedback and other critical information with the organization.

RealResponse, which has been widely utilized at the collegiate and professional level, allows athletes to immediately and anonymously report concerns, such as safety issues, mental health concerns or COVID-19 protocol violations. USA Gymnastics staff will be able to respond to these reports in real time and connect athletes with critical resources directly from the system. It also includes a survey tool that will provide USA Gymnastics with a more efficient channel to proactively solicit athlete feedback, enabling athletes to directly weigh in on decisions that affect them.

While the athlete reports will allow USA Gymnastics to respond quickly to individual matters, the aggregated data and survey responses will provide actionable data to help the organization better identify and respond to trends affecting elite and elite-track gymnasts across disciplines.

USA Gymnastics sees this tool as a potential resource for member clubs and will be working closely with RealResponse on a broader community launch.
