Emily Lee Commits To UCLA For 2021-2022

Junior elite Emily Lee has announced her commitment to UCLA for the 2021-2022 season via her Instagram:



Lee trains at West Valley Gymnastics School under coaches Paul Duron and Judy Sun. She took seventh on beam at the 2016 P&G Championships and also competed at the 2016 Secret Classic.

This past March, Lee competed as a level 10 at the 2017 Elevate Gym Fest and posted a 37.525 to win the all-around. She is the reigning J.O. National floor champion in the junior B division and is excited to be taking her talent to UCLA in the future.

Riley McCusker, a four-time national team member of USA Gymnastics, filed a lawsuit against former coach Maggie Haney and former assistant coach Victoria Levine. It's a civil case for damages, alleging negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress by her coaches for forcing her to train while injured.
