Aly Raisman and NFL free agent Colton Underwood are officially a couple -- and already a very popular one! They walked the red carpet together on Monday night at the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Ceremony in New York.

The pair has been secretly dating for a few months -- since the VMAs in August. Following Monday's event, Raisman told PEOPLE that she and Underwood are officially dating but "kept it quiet for a while."

This all started months ago when Shawn Johnson had some matchmaking magic in mind. Raisman watched a video in which Underwood asked her out on a double date with his Oakland Raiders teammate Andrew East and Johnson.


And from there, Raisman and Underwood met in Denver when Raisman was there for a short time, and the rest is history. She has met Underwood's family and plans to see them again for the holidays!
