Following the conclusion of the 2016 P&G Championships, 18 gymnasts were named to the Men's National Team. 13 gymnasts were automatically added based on all-around placement and the National Team Selection Points System. The final five gymnasts were added following a Men's National Program Committee meeting. All 18 gymnasts will qualify to the 2016 Olympic Trials, which will be held June 23 and 25 in St. Louis, MO.

Official qualification procedures for the 2016 Men's National Team: 
The Senior National Team will consist of 18 athletes chosen in the following manner: 
- The top seven in the all-around rankings based on the two-day all-around total
- The top six athletes (not included in the top seven all-around athletes) will be selected in the rank order using the MPC-approved National Team Points System
- The National Team Coordinator will select one team member from among the participants at P&G Champs or from qualified petitioned athletes
- The Men's Program Committee will select four team members from among the participants at P&G Champs or from qualified petitioned athletes
