On April 14, USA Gymnastics updated their national team roster (see here) to indicate that senior national team member Alexis Vasquez has retired from elite gymnastics.

Two days later, Vasquez announced via her Instagram account that she has verbally committed to the University of Denver, with the intention to start in 2018 when she graduates from high school.
