Laurie Hernandez has been added to the U.S. National Team following the January National Team Training Camp, as USAG released. 

Hernandez won silver at the 2013 P&G Championships but missed out on competition in 2014 due to injuries. Gymnastike visited Hernandez and MG Elite in October and Hernandez was looking strong and nearly back at full health. Watch our Beyond the Routine featuring Hernandez and teammates Jazmyn Foberg and Ari Agrapides here.

This past training camp included half routine verification and physical abilities testing with a focus on finalizing routine construction for the first half of the 2015 competitive season, according to USAG. With Hernandez being added back to the National Team, it means that she proved readiness to National Team Coordinator Martha Karolyi and the rest of the selection committee.

According to MG Elite's Facebook page, Hernandez finished first all-around out of the juniors and placed first in physical abilities testing.
