The National Elite Qualifer was held today and yesterday at the Karolyi Ranch in Huntsville, Texas.

To qualify for junior elite, the gymnast must have a minimum complusory score of 35 (for new elites) and a minimum optional score of 51. To qualify for senior elite, the gymnast must have a minimum complusory score of 35 (for new elites) and a minimum optional score of 53. Senior elites can qualify as a two or three event specialist if they get a minimum of 8.75 on each event in compulsory and a 40.5 for three events or 27.5 for two events in optionals.

If a junior elite doesn't make the minimum scores, they can instead use those scores towards Hopes if she is age eligible. There are two division for Hopes: 10-11 and 12-13. For 10-11, a gymnast needs a minimum compulsory score of 32 and minimum optional score of 47. For 12-13, a gymnast needs a minimum compulsory score of 33 and minimum optional score of 48.
