Lexie Preissman Undergoes Surgery
U.S. Senior National Team member Lexie Priessman of Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy will undergo surgery today in order to repair a toe injury. Priessman has been working through this injury for months by taping her first two toes together.
Priessman was expected to contend for the 2013 U.S. Senior National All Around title in Hartford but withdrew from the competition due to a strain in her achilles tendon.
Despite being unable to compete, Priessman was added to the U.S. Senior National Team. She was the 2012 U.S. Junior National Champion and won the Floor title at the 2013 Secret U.S. Classic.
