McKayla Maroney reveals fibula fracture and teaches Maria Menounos how to Dougie
Appearing on Extra on August 28, 2012, Olympic gold and silver medalist, McKayla Maroney, casually revealed that she has a fractured fibula in addition to her other well-known fracture, a broken toe.

Maroney's revelations did not end there.  In the 3-minute segment, she shared that she has a stylist; revealed which celebrity she most wants to meet when hosting the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards with her Fierce Five teammates; opened up about seeing her teammates in the stands talking to Kate Middleton, Dutchess of Cambridge, while she was waiting to do her now-famous vault in event finals; and demonstrated her "not impressed" face that resulted from her fateful second vault.  In that second vault, as Maroney has often stated, she landed "on [her] butt at the Olympics."

Despite her long list of injuries, Maroney took to the dance floor on Extra and taught host, Maria Menounos, how to do the Dougie.  At this point, Maroney is practically a professional in teaching the Dougie.  In London, she taught the dance to Today Show correspondent, Jenna Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush.  Who did it best?

Maroney's revelation of her second fracture makes her attempt to walk in high heels on Letterman (video here and interview about walking in heels on a broken toe here) even more impressive.  Coincidentally, Maroney's Olympic teammate, Jordyn Wieber, has a fractured fibula as well.  Unlike Wieber, Maroney does not appear to have been photographed wearing a protective boot.
