The Weekend Ahead: Windy City and 6 Meet Coverages
We hope everyone enjoyed our coverage of three different meets during opening weekend of the 2011 gymnastics season. Now it's time to double that in week two! We're going big this weekend with video coverage of 6 meets around the country! Here's an overview of the meet coverage you can find on gymnastike this weekend:

Friday, Jan 14th: #5 UCLA at #23 Southern Utah
Gymnastike contributor Kyle Khou will head down to Cedar City to check out a Southern Utah team on the rise as they host the defending NCAA Champions who showed some weaknesses in week one.

Friday, Jan 14th: 15th Windy City Invitational
Windy City is a huge, annual men's gymnastics invitational featuring top junior olympic gymnasts levels 4 through elite from around the country. Anne and gymnastike contributor Jason MacDonald will provide video coverage of levels 9 through elite throughout the weekend.

Saturday, Jan 15th: 41st Windy City College Session
A huge matchup right out the gate featuring the best of Big 10 Gymnastics: The defending NCAA Champion Michigan Wolverines, #4 preseason ranked University of Illinois, #6 Ohio State, #8 Minnesota, #10 Iowa and the host team, #12 University of Illinois-Chicago.

Sunday, Jan 16th: Eastern Michigan at University of Northern Illinois
Anne and Jason head up the road from Chicago to DeKalb for a nice little Sunday afternoon of women's college gymnastics as the Huskies host MAC Conference rival Eastern Michigan. This is EMU's season opener.

Sunday, Jan 16th: Towson vs. Bridgeport at Brown University
Over in the Northeast, gymnastike contributor David Pendrys will bring you coverage of this tri meet in Providence which happens to be the season opener for all three teams.

Monday, Jan 17th: Western Michigan at University of Illinois-Chicago
Anne is going for her record of 4 meet coverages in 4 days and will cap off a great weekend of gymnastics back in Chicago as the UIC women host Western Michigan University for an afternoon dual on MLK Holiday.

Preseason ranked #7 Georgia took the win in Denver vs DU, BYU, and Air Force.
New Hampshire topped Rutgers with a big season opening team total to move to #13 in the National rankings.
Florida exploded with a 196.925 in Week 1 as they hosted Nebraska
