The most points ever scored in a Pink Flamingo Championship game was just enough for USC to get by Penn State.

No. 8 USC (5-0) used a 7-0 run to take the lead with 30 seconds remaining against Penn State (5-1) at the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship on Nov.22 in Nassau Bahamas and held on to win 71-70.

JuJu Watkins set a tournament record with 31 points on 9-for-20 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds in the win. But it was Watkins' record-setting final two points that gave the Trojans the leads.

Penn State built an 8-point lead in the fourth quarter, but failed to score in the final 2:15 of the game. Meanwhile the freshman Watkins went to work, scoring the game's last seven points.

USC beat Seton Hall on Monday hours after moving to No. 8 in the rankings, and Penn State nearly knocked them down. Shay Ciezki scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Lions.
