The Italian Gymnastics Federation has named the four gymnasts who will compete at the 2017 World Championships, held October 2-8 in Montreal.

Sara Berardinelli
Desirée Carofiglio
Alternate: Noemi Linari

The Italian gymnasts competed at the Eboli Serie A on September 16, which served as the final chance for the athletes to prove themselves before the team was selected.

Ferrari, 26, made her official comeback at the competition, following Achilles surgery after the Rio Olympics. She has been battling to make it back for worlds, and she proved she is ready. Ferrari is easily the team's most experienced gymnast with six world championship appearances and five world medals under her belt.
