Jazmyn Foberg Signs NLI, Headed To Florida One Year Early
Jazmyn Foberg of MG Elite has announced that she will be joining the Florida gymnastics in the fall of 2017 after signing her national letter of intent on Wednesday morning. Foberg was originally slated to begin at UF in 2018, but she took the opportunity to start her NCAA career one year early.

Florida Head Coach Jenny Rowland on Foberg coming to UF:
Jazzy is an exciting, talented athlete who will make an immediate impact for the Gators. Her success as an international athlete, power, confidence and consistency will be a huge asset in her collegiate career. I have no doubt that she will become a fan favorite of the Gator Nation for years to come!
Foberg had a successful elite career, becoming the U.S. junior national all-around champion in 2014 and then finishing second all-around in 2015. She competed internationally at the Junior Japan International and the City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy in 2015, taking second and third place all-around, respectively.

An ankle injury plagued Foberg at the end of 2015 and into this past elite season, and she was unable to compete in the summer meets. Despite the setback, Foberg has returned strong and is thrilled to be starting her new journey at Florida in just a few months.

Big congrats to Jazzy!
