Recruiting 101: Five Reasons Why Your Recruiting Process Has Slowed Down
This week's Recruiting 101 breaks down five different things that could slow down you down in the recruiting process.

1. Waiting on your club coach to do your recruiting.

2. A college coach sees red-flag issues, like selfishness or bad attitude.

3. You stop sending information and updates.

4. Sending out your information to a college coach too late.

5. Letting your parent do most of the talking and recruiting.

Many of my clients wonder why the recruiting process slows down at times, and often there are things you can do to get the ball rolling again. The best advice I can give is to stay proactive and keep sending videos and updates. Don't let the quiet periods of recruiting dictate your work and effort you put into recruiting. The college coaches get very busy during different times in their seasons. Do not assume there is no interest. Keep knocking on the door of a college until it completely closes.
