Four Gymnasts From Atlanta Crown Earn Berths To 2021 Nastia Liukin Cup

The field for the 2021 Nastia Liukin Cup is beginning to take shape following the first qualifier in the 12-event series. Two junior and two senior gymnasts who competed at the Atlanta Crown Invitational in Duluth, Ga., last weekend earned berths for the February 26 final in Indianapolis.
USA Gymnastics Announce Development Program National Championships May 2021

USA Gymnastics announced the 2021 USAG Development Program National Championships will be held May 11-16, 2021, at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. For the first time, the event will bring together gymnasts from the men’s and women’s artistic disciplines. More than 1,500 athletes are expected to compete.

The great thing about all of those topics is that the more you use them, the better they work for you. Also, the more skills you use, the more tools you have at your disposal to help you when different issues arise. So, for best results, you should incorporate multiple mental skills and use them often!

As I meet with families, I occasionally come across situations in which I can see that the parent has much loftier aspirations than the gymnast in regards to picking potential college teams. I can see that the gymnast is uncomfortable and struggling with how to handle the situation. The pressure of wanting to please the parent and yet knowing they do not have what it takes to reach the schools on the parents list is difficult.
