Laurie Hernandez is set for tonight's season premiere of "Dancing with Stars" on ABC at 8:00 p.m. ET. She is paired with Val Chmerkovskiy, and her competitive spirit has her already eying that mirror ball trophy.



Hernandez and Chmerkovskiy have been putting in tons of hard work to prepare for the premiere, but they've also been finding time for fun between focused rehearsals.

Last week, Hernandez was on Good Morning America with the Season 23 cast, and then flew out to Los Angeles a couple days ago to prepare for the show. Per usual, her excitement was palpable.
