---

The U.S. Pacific Rim Championships Team has been named as Simone Biles, Brenna Dowell, Laurie Hernandez, Ashton Locklear, Maggie Nichols, and Aly Raisman. The competition is April 8-10 in Everett Washington and provides an important opportunity for these seniors to prove themselves in this Olympic year.

This will be Biles' first competition of 2016 and she will be debuting a new floor routine along with her new Cheng vault. More on Biles. Dowell's last competition was at the 2015 World Championships so this will be her first showing in 2016 as well.

Hernandez and Locklear are coming off strong performances at the 2016 City of Jesolo Trophy where they helped Team USA take the team gold. Hernandez also took third in the all-around, first on beam, and second on vault. Locklear brought home the gold on bars.

For the women, there will be a team/all-around final on Saturday April 9th and event finals are on Sunday, April 10th.
