Workout Wednesday with the Terps

Watch behind the scenes coverage as the Maryland Gymnastics team works out before their weekend competition. Head Coach Brett Nelligan explains their typical workout and assistant coaches Erinn Dooley and J.J. Ferreira explain the assignments on each event. After this workout, the Maryland gymnastics team scored a 195.950, tied for the 10th-best score in program history, to place 3rd at the EAGL Championships. Junior Ally Krikorian won the gold medal on floor with a 9.925, while senior Kyra Phillips and sophomore Katy Dodds finished in a tie for the silver. On vault, Dodds, Krikorian and Phillips finished in a five-way tie for the conference title with a 9.90. This weekend, the team will participate in NCAA Regional competition for the fourth consecutive season and 18th-time overall. The Terps were placed in the Fayetteville Regional where they'll join host Arkansas, Boise State, Missouri, New Hampshire and UCLA. Competition will take place Saturday, April 7 at 7 p.m. ET.
