Gymnastike Stick of the Week for March 31st comes from the 2010 Big 12 Championships in Lincoln, NE. Oklahoma came into the meet as the favorites to win but Nebraska came out firing on floor and vault and was leading the way after 2 rotations. However, when the Sooners went to vault in the third rotation it was another story. The Sooners nailed all of their vaults and Melanie Root closed out the rotation with this stick to total a 49.450, their highest vault score since 2002. Not only does Melanie get Stick of the Week, but we'll give her Fist Pump of the Week honors too.
