Auburn's Trio of Freshmen Looks to Continue Success
Auburn welcomes in three outstanding freshmen who look to continue the Tigers' rise in NCAA gymnastics. Auburn's newcomers are expected to make an impact this season following the graduation of standout all-around Caitlin Atkinson, who not only provided standout routines but also strong leadership. The Tigers are in pursuit of their third straight berth to the NCAA championships in 2017 and will need their talented group of freshmen to contribute early.

Katie Becker: Four-time J.O. national qualifier
Gracie Day: 2015 J.O. national team member, two-time J.O. national floor champion (2014, 2015)
Kendal Moss: Two-time Nastia Cup qualifier

Katie Becker

Becker is a freshman from Boone, North Carolina, where she trained at Everest Gymnastics with fellow incoming freshman Kendal Moss. Becker is strong on all four events and should get off to a quick start at Auburn. She has had great success at all levels and that should continue in her freshman season. Watch for Becker to make an early splash this season for the Tigers.

Gracie Day

Day is from San Antonio, Texas, where she competed and trained with Aerial Athletics. Day looked strong in the all-around during the Tigers' Halloween intrasquad meet this preseason. She has great difficulty on all four events, including a full-twisting double back, sky-high jaeger, and piked front toss on beam. Day has great energy and the potential to be the next record-setter at Auburn. Tiger coach Jeff Graba said Day is "going to be a rock star." Watch Day on bars here.

Kendal Moss

Moss is a freshman from Cornelius, NC, where she trained at Everest Gymnastics with Becker. Moss excels on beam and bars with beautiful execution and great confidence. On bars, Moss showcases a sky-high Gienger along with nice lines and form throughout, capped off with a double layout.
