Doc Ali’s Tight Mind Monday 7-25-16: Unstoppable NOW

Being unstoppable means consistently doing whatever it takes to reach our goals, and breaking through the next obstacle that blocks our path. Every moment we are given a choice – an action that takes us toward our goal, or one that moves us further away. Continuously making the choice that moves in the direction of our goal, is being unstoppable.  

Sometimes those choices seem small, like pushing through a difficult conditioning circuit in order to become stronger. Sometimes those choices are big, for example recovering from an injury. When we are unstoppable we are aware that NOW is the moment to move toward our goal. There is a sense of urgency knowing there is not a lot of time left to reach our goal – in our sport and our lives. 

How to be unstoppable this week.  

• Ask yourself:  What action do I need to take NOW to be unstoppable?

• Pick three goals to be unstoppable on and challenge yourself to reach them.

• Write the word NOW on your hand. When you see that word during practice, take a deep breath and say to yourself, “What time is it? The time is NOW!” Then, take an action that moves you toward that goal – remembering every day, every minute matters.  


We like to think we have all the time in the world to make changes or create what we want – we don’t. Make the right choices and be unstoppable…NOW!
