This pre-olympic kick off competition featured two-time olympians Svetlana Boguinskaia and Oksana Chusovitina, 1992 US Olympian Kerri Strug, and defending American Cup champion Kristy Powell. The competition came down to the last event and Kerri Strug stepped out of the shadows of others to take the American Cup title.
