US gymnast Bridgette Caquatto won 3 Gold Medal at the Pan Am Games. Bridgey (as she is called) is a senior international elite gymnast from Legacy Elite Gymnastics in Carol Stream, IL. She took home the gold medal in the all-around competition and the uneven bars Wednesday at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. Bridgey became the 7th consecutive U.S. woman to win the all-around title, dating back to 1987, and the 11th overall. Olympic gold medalist Shannon Miller won the title in 1995, as did fellow world champions Chellsie Memmel (2003) and Shawn Johnson (2007). The U.S. women won the team gold medal, which means they have won 12 of the 14 women's team titles in Pan Am Games history. She is a senior at Naperville Central High School.
