Coach Mary Lee Tracy on the CGA Gymnasts Through the Years
Coach Mary Lee Tracy sprung onto the elite gymnastics scene in the early 90's with an up-and-coming Amanda Borden. In 1996, Mary Lee coached her first two gymnasts to the Olympic team, Amanda Borden and Jaycie Phelps. The girls went down in history as they became the first USA team to win the Olympic team title. After the success in 1996, Mary Lee established herself as one of the top elite gymnastics coaches in the United States and prospective Olympians flocked to her gym in Ohio. Mary Lee touched the lives of numerous elite gymnasts since that time, but as a young coach, these gymnasts also molded her.
