Georgia Elite's Elena Arenas is gearing up for the two big meets of the 2017 summer elite season, including the U.S. Classic in Chicago and the P&G Championships in Anaheim, CA.

Arenas fought through adversity in the offseason, but she proved she is back and ready to rock when she won 1st all-around at the American Classic last weekend. The first-year senior scored a 53.15 to kick off her season with a bang.

Reflecting on the meet, Arenas told FloGymnastics,

It was awesome winning and having a great start to the season. I've worked really hard coming back after having some setbacks this past offseason. I'm looking forward to taking these next couple weeks to work on the details and consistency before the U.S. Classic and P&G Championships.
Arenas hopes to make the U.S. senior national team this year and looks forward to competing for LSU in the future.
