The top eight gymnasts on each event from qualifications competed today at the 2014 Canadian Championships event finals.  Scott Morgan claimed gold medals on floor and vault and a silver on rings. Zachary Clay and Evan Cruz tied for the pommel horse title, Robert Stanescu took the rings title, Nathan Gafuik took the parallel bars title, and Cory Paterson took the high bar title.

Women

Ellie Black
won her second straight women's senior all around title at the Canadian Gymnastics Championships with a 58.025. Isabela Onyhsko came in second with a 56.1 and Victoria Moors in third with a 54.975.

Black's performance was highlighted by her 15.00 beam score, the highest of the seniors. Onyshko had the seniors bar high of 14.35 and was consistent on all four events to clinch silver. Moors struggled on both bars and beam, similar to her qualifications competition. She had the floor high of a 14.55 with a 6.1 difficulty score. 

For the juniors, Rose Kaying-Woo won gold with an impressive 59.05. Shallon Olsen took silver with a 55.75 and Megan Roberts took bronze with a 55.375. Kaying-Woo scored an incredible 15.95 on beam and also had the high on bars of a 14.575.

Juniors



Men

Robert Watson claimed the all-around title in the mens session with a 82.1 followed by Simon Porter in second with an 81.6 and Rene Cournoyer in third with an 81.0.

For the juniors, Justin Karstadt claimed first with an 80.0 followed by Aaron Mah with a 79.2 and Sam Zakutney who scored a 79.05.
