Top seeds Alabama and Nebraska delivered today in Seattle to advance ot the 2014 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships. 

Fresh off their SEC Conference victory, Alabama easily won the meet with a 197.550 team score. They closed out the meet with a stickfest on vault, totalling 49.60, highlighted by a 9.95 for Lauren Beers.

The victory also gives Alabama head coach Sarah Patterson the 1,000th win of her career. After Utah's Greg Marsden hit the milestone earlier this season, Patterson is only the second coach in collegiate gymnastics to earn 1,000 wins, notching the total in the 12th meet of her 36th year.

Nebraska nearly broke 197 and clinched the second team qualifying spot. The Huskers will return to the NCAA Championships after missing out with a devastating Regionals last season. Senior Emily Wong led the Huskers and won the all around title with a 39.625 ahead of Alabama's Kim Jacob (39.50).
