Results from the June 2011 Florida elite qualifier compulsory competition



The first national elite qualifier of the summer season began today in Florida with the compulsory competition. In order to qualify elite, all gymnasts must first pass the compulsory testing showing basic routines. Oftentimes it takes gymnasts multiple tries to pass but it's something they all must do. Below is the list of athletes who successfully passed today's compulsory testing, congrats to these girls!  

First, here's a rundown of the compulsory elite qualifying scores for 2011: 
Senior International (16 and up): 35.00 AA 
Junior International (ages 11 - 15): 35.00 AA
Junior Pre-Elite (ages 11-14): 33.50
Hopes (ages 10 - 12): 32.00
In order for a gymnast to earn International Elite status, they must pass the compulsory testing. Athletes that have already competed at a Classic are not required to attain another compulsory score.

Senior International: 53.00 AA at a 2011 Qualifier, NT camp, or at 2010 US Championships
 or 3 Event=40.5, 2 Event =27.5
Junior International: 51.00 AA at a 2010 Championships, 2011 National Qualfiers, or at training camp
Junior Pre-Elite ages 13-14: 49.00 at National Qualifier or training camp
Junior Pre-Elite ages 11-12: 48.00 at National Qualifier or training camp
Hopes ages 12: 48.00 at Qualifier
Hopes age 10-11: 47.00 at Qualifier
 
OPTIONAL SCORES to Qualify to Championships:
Senior International: 54.00 AA at a 2011 Classic meet, or NT members at training camp or International Assignment
 or 3 Event=41.25, 2 Event =28.00
 (2010 World Team members automatically qualify)
Junior International: 52.50 AA at 2011 Classic meet, or NT members at training camp or International Assignment
