European Championships - Junior Women's All-Around Finals
Russia's Elena Eremina stole the show to win the junior all-around title at the 2016 European Championships. Eremina had consistent performances on all four events while Switzerland's Lynn Genhart and Italy's Martina Basile following close behind.

European Championships - Senior Women's Team Qualifications
The senior British women came out strong and finished first in team qualifications at the 2016 European Gymnastics Championships with Russia following close behind. Giulia Steingruber had some strong performances in qualifications to lead Switzerland to the third spot while Romania hung on to qualify in fourth. The top 8 teams will move on to the team finals, to be held Saturday, June 4th.

After qualifying in second behind Great Britain, Russia was victorious at the European Championship women's team final.

Switzerland's Giulia Steingruber dominated the senior women's event finals at the European Championships by winning the vault and floor titles. Russia's Aliya Mustafina took home the gold on beam while Great Britain's Rebecca Downie won uneven bars.
