Simone Biles of the USA won the floor title with a score of 15.000. Simone's routine included a tucked double double and a double layout half-out. This was an amazing week for Biles who also grabbed a gold in all-around, silver on vault and bronze on beam.  

Vanessa Ferrari of Italy earned the silver medal on floor with a 14.633. Ferrari put on a show and closed her routine with a stuck double pike.

Larisa Iordache of Romania placed third with a 14.600.  Iordache was coming off of a disappointing performance in the beam final where she fell on her tuck full. Iordache was a favorite for gold on that event.

Kohei Uchimura of Japan tied with Lin Chaopan of China to  win the parallel bar gold medal with a score of 15.666. John Orozco of the United States won the bronze medal with a 15.533. 

Seon Hak Yang of Korea won the gold on vault with a 15.533 followed by Steve Legendre of the USA with a 15.249. Kristian Thomas of Great Britain earned the Bronze with a 15.233. 

2012 Olympic High Bar Champion Epke Zonderland finally won a world title. Zonderland finished second on high bar at the 2009 and 2010 World Championships. Zonderland thrilled the crowd with his crazy release combinations and capped it off with a stuck layout double double.  Fabian Hambuechen of Germany won the silver medal with a 15.933 followed by King Kohei Uchimura of Japan in third with a 15.633. Uchimura just won his fourth straight World All-Around gold medal. 

Women's Vault Final

McKayla Maroney became the only U.S. women to win back-to-back World Championship titles on the Vault. Maroney won her first vault title at the 2011 World Championships in Toykyo.  Maroney performed a gorgeous Amanar for her first vault and stuck it cold for a score of 15.966 Maroney's second vault, a Mustafina, is the one she infamously sat down at the 2012 Olympic final.  Today, Maroney over-rotated the vault and scored 15. 483. to earn an average of 15.724 and the gold medal.

Maroney had some competition for this title from teammate Simone Biles.  Biles scored a 15.933 on her Amanar and a 15.258 on her handspring layout half for an average of 15.595 and the silver medal.  This is the second medal in Antwerp for Biles after winning gold in the all-around final.  Biles qualified to every event final.

Hong Un Jong of Korea won the bronze medal with an average of 15.483. Jong submitted a triple twisting yurchenko to the FIG  but only performed an Amanar.

Women's Uneven Bar Final

Huidan Huang of China took the gold on uneven bars with a score of 15.400. Yao Jinnan posted the top bar score in qualification but fell today performing her gaylord release.

Kyla Ross of the USA won the silver medal with a  score of 15.266. Ross capped off her routine with a stuck double layout. The is the second medal for Ross in Antwerp after finishing second in the women's all around final.

2012 Olympic Champion Aliya Mustafina of Russia won the bronze medal with a score of 15.033. Mustafina performed her new skill, shaposh full to mixed grip, and ended the routine with a one-and-a-half twisting double tuck.

Men's Ring Final

Arthur Zanetti of Brazil placed first on rings with a score of 15.800 followed by Aleksandr Balandin of Russia in second with a score of 15.733. American Brandon Wynn won the bronze medal with a score of 15.666. Wynn filed an inquirey after his routine questioning the difficulty rating but his score was not changed.

Wynn showed his signature strength moves on the still rings, including two inverted crosses and an Azarian Maltese. He also stuck his full-twisting, double layout dismount, and his 15.666 secured the bronze medal, the second rings medal for the USA. Arthur Nabarrete Zanetti of Brazil was first, with second going to Russia's Aleksandr Baladin.

"I am extremely proud and happy to come away with the bronze," said Wynn. "The final was amazing and I am I am proud to be here. I heard this is only the USA's second rings medal, which is an honor." USAG

Men's Floor Final

Kenzo Shirai of Japan won the gold on floor exercise with a crazy routine that ended with a stuck quadruple twist. Shirai scored a 16.00 and his routine earned a 7.400 difficulty rating.  Jake Dalton of the USA won the silver medal with great routine that ended with a stuck triple twist for a score of 16.000. King Kohei Uchimura of Japan won the bronze medal with a 15.500.

In the men's floor exercise final, Dalton performed an Arabian double layout to begin his routine. With a stuck triple twisting dismount, Dalton pumped his fists as he left the podium. His 15.600 resulted in the silver medal, finishing behind Japan's Kenzo Shirai. This is the first U.S. men's floor medal since Paul Hamm won the event in 2003. Also in the floor final, Steven Legendre of Port Jefferson, N.Y./Team Hilton HHonors (University of Oklahoma), mounted with a front double full to double front and dismounted with a piked Arabian double front. His 15.366 tied him for fifth place with Diego Hypolito of Brazil.

Men's Pommel Horse Final

Kohei Kameyama of Japan won the pommel horse final with a score of 15.833. Max Whitlock of Great Britain and Daniel Corral Barron of Mexico tied for the silver with a score of 15.633. Whitlock was the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist on the pommel horse while Barron clinched his country's first World medal.
