Cameron Bock Takes 2021 Winter Cup Men's All-Around Title

INDIANAPOLIS - Feb. 26, 2021 - Cameron Bock of Tustin, Calif./University of Michigan, topped a field of 27 competitors to claim the 2021 Winter Cup men’s all-around title Friday at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Bock, who is in his senior season with the Wolverines, earned an 84.150 and finished nearly a full point ahead of runner-up Riley Loos of El Dorado Hills, Calif/Stanford University (83.250). World bronze medalist Yul Moldauer of Arvada, Colo./5280 Gymnastics, rounded out the top three, posting an 82.600 on the night.

For many gymnasts, 2020 was the year that signified the end of an Olympic journey and the beginning of a life outside of gymnastics. Before the pandemic hit, Akash Modi was finally coming to terms with being done with the sport he loves for good. After hopefully competing at the 2020 Olympic Games, he planned to be done and move on. That plan obviously came crashing down with the postponement of the games, and at first, Modi wasn’t even sure he would continue.
Lindenwood Breaking Records, Stanford Perfection, And Florida Celebration

Lindenwood edged Eastern Michigan, Rutgers, and Temple in a quad meet in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon in record-breaking fashion. The Lions scored over a 196 for the first time in school history with a 196.400. They set new program records with totals on bars (49.100) and on beam (49.425).

Nebraska had a solid meet at the Elevate the Stage in Augusta, Georgia, on Friday night and earned the quad-meet win with a 196.700 against Stanford (195.925), Illinois (195.900), and Georgia (195.825). Taylor Houchin posted a 9.900 to share second place on bars and the Huskers posted a 49.300 event total. Nebraska didn’t score below a 9.800 on bars.
