AJ Heeg Commits To Oklahoma State
AJ Heeg will stay home and wrestle for Oklahoma State after initially committing to Oklahoma.
AJ Heeg, a senior at Stillwater High School, has changed his mind. The #5 182-pounder in the country initially committed to Oklahoma but opened up his recruiting. Heeg has decided to stay in Stillwater and wrestle for John Smith and Oklahoma State.
The addition of Heeg bolsters the Cowboys' recruiting haul after landing Cael Hughes (#13), Brayden Thompson (#17), and Jersey Robb (#35).
Heeg made the announcement of his commitment to Oklahoma State on social media.
I'd like to say thanks to all the coaches that reached out to me when I reopened my recruitment process. With that being said I have decided to stay home, become a cowboy, and help bring back some more National Championships to Gallagher-Iba.🤠 #gopokes pic.twitter.com/c1HLi7CWct
