Vadim Afanasev (Men's Tumbling)

Not only is the Russian gymnast the reigning world champion for men's tumbling, but he also finished first in his discipline earlier this year at the World Cup in Baku. At last year's European Championships, he was unable to win the gold but still did well and earned bronze. Overall, his layout positions are very clean and open, and his form in the air is exceptional.

Gao Lei (Men's Trampoline)

Gao is the three-time reigning world champion and the reigning bronze Olympic medalist in men's trampoline. At last year's Asian Games, he won the silver medal. Although the Chinese gymnast hasn't made the finals at World Cups this year, his past success is certainly an indicator of what's he capable of. His gymnastics is very precise and clean, allowing him to win the world title last year.

Uladzislau Hancharou/Aleh Rabtsau (Men's Synchro)

The Belarusian pair are two-time reigning world champions in men's synchronized trampoline and are therefore undefeated in their partnership at World Championships. They won the synchro title in their home country earlier this year during the Minsk World Cup and earned silver on foreign soil in Azerbaijan at the Baku World Cup. Last year, they won a pair of silver medals in the World Cup series. In addition, they're the reigning European champions.

Jia Fangfang (Women's Tumbling)

China's tumbling powerhouse is a three-time world champion and five-time individual world champion. The only year she failed to medal at Worlds was 2014. Jia is also the 2013 and 2017 champion in women's tumbling for The World Games. She hasn't competed in World Cups yet this year, as she's been training in artistic this year. But her accolades speak for themselves.

Rosie MacLennan (Women's Trampoline)

The Canadian legend is a two-time reigning Olympic champion, a two-time world champion, and five-time world medalist. She's also the reigning world champion and is returning from a broken ankle suffered at the Minsk World Cup. Before her injury this year, she earned silver at the Baku World Cup in women's trampoline. Although this will be her first competition since her injury, she can't be counted out given her past success.

Rosie MacLennan/Sarah Milette (Women's Synchro)

MacLennan has also found success in synchro with current partner Sarah Milette. The Canadian duo won silver in women's synchro at last year's Worlds and won gold at the 2018 Loule World Cup. They're also the reigning Pan American Champions, and though they weren't able to compete together at this year's Canadian Championships, the pair won the women's synchro title in 2018.

Lina Sjoeberg (Women's Double Mini)

The Swedish gymnast is the reigning women's double mini trampoline world champion but has also won two bronze world medals in 2015 and 2017. She hasn't competed in double mini at World Cups yet this year but has medaled in double mini at the European Championships. Last year in Baku, she won bronze, and in 2016, she became the European champion after winning in Valladolid, Spain. Another international accolade includes bronze at the 2017 World Games

Mikhail Zalomin (Men's Double Mini)

The Russian gymnast is the reigning men's double mini world champion but is a four-time individual double mini world champion, having won the title in 2013, 2014, 2017, and 2018. Zalomin won silver in 2015. At the 2017 World Games, he won the double mini title, and in 2015, he won silver. He was the European champion in 2015.
