Sydney Barros, Skye Blakely, and Kayla DiCello, with Konnor McClain as the alternate, were named to USA's 2019 FIG Junior World Championships team.

Sydney Barros, Skye Blakely, and Kayla DiCello, with Konnor McClain as the traveling alternate, were named to USA's 2019 FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships team.

Blakely posted the highest score with a 56.50 and was automatically named to the team, followed by DiCello with a 55.75, Barros with a 54.55, and McClain with a 54.15. For the Junior World Team, gymnasts must be 14 or 15 years of age in 2019.

The selection was determined at the junior world team trials on June 14, held during the June national team training camp at EVO Athletics in Sarasota, Fla.

The World Championships will be held June 27-30 in Gyor, Hungary. This is the first Junior Worlds for men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics, and medals will be awarded for team, all-around, and individual events. The tentative schedule is: June 27, men’s team and all-around finals and individual event final qualifications; June 28, women’s team and all-around finals and individual event final qualifications; June 29-30, men and women’s event finals.
