Senior Catie Conrad Opens Up About Transfer To Pitt

Catie Conrad is a senior at Pitt where she hopes to lead the team to an outstanding season. She spent the last three seasons at Eastern Michigan where she was a key contributor in the all-around.

Conrad led the Eagles to two consecutive team MAC championship titles along with winning the bar title at the 2017 MAC Championships with a 9.9. In her time at EMU, Conrad was a part of a record-breaking season in 2016 helping the Eagles qualify to regionals for the first time.

In the offseason, Conrad made the decision to transfer to Pitt for her senior year. She made this tough decision as she wanted to prepare for her future. Her experience and success will be a huge boost to the Pitt team as they look to break many of their own records this season. In her first few months, Conrad has already brought a big boost of energy to the team in and out of the gym.

Conrad also had some fun this fall as she was on Homecoming court, where she enjoyed getting to know many different students outside of the gym.

FloGymnastics recently sat down with Conrad to hear about her transfer and her goals for this year.
