OU Scores Highest Score of the Season to Win Over ASU and Iowa State
The Sooners had their best scoring meet so far in the 2016 season. The Sooners finished with a 197.475 to win over the ASU Sun Devils and the Iowa State Cyclones.

The Sooners started off their meet on vault where the first four gymnast stuck their yurchenko fulls. Sophomore ​Ali Jackson​, junior ​Chayse Capps​, and senior ​Haley Scaman ​led vault with a 9.875. ​The Cyclones started on bars. The first few routines were rough but the cyclones fought hard. Sophomore ​Hilary Green ​had the highest score on bars for the Cyclones with a 9.825​. ASU started on beam where they did not have any falls. The Sun Devils had four freshman in their line up and ​Heather Udowitch ​had the highest score with a 9.75.
On the second rotation the Sooners were lead by ​junior ​McKenzie Wofford ​and senior ​Keeley Kmieciak​ who both scored an impressive 9.925. Iowa State suffered a few falls and wobbles on beam and surely were not happy with their team score. Despite the falls, sophomore ​Kelsey Paz ​still scored a 9.775 for the Cyclones. The Sun Devils kept their momentum from being going on floor. Senior ​Taylor Allex​ had an amazing routine that earned her a 9.875 from the judges. 
In the third rotation the Sooners had one fall but it did not hurt their team score. Sophomore ​Natalie Brown ​won beam with a graceful routine that scored a 9.925. Capps also had a high scoring routine of a 9.9. The Cyclones moved to floor in the third rotation. There, Young and Paz scored high routines of a 9.85 and a 9.8. The Sun Devils had some weak landings on vault. Only two vaults scored about a 9.7. Those vaults came from ​seniors ​Allie Salas ​and Allex who scored a 9.75 and 9.8.
In the final rotation, the Sooners shined on floor. Jackson and Scaman both proved why they are the last two to go for the Sooners on floor. Jackson scored a 9.9, while Scaman a 9.925. The Cyclones finished on vault were their landings were weak and the scores showed. Converse had the highest score for the Cyclones with a 9.8. The Sun Devils lost their momentum once they got to bars. There were a couple of falls and no one stuck their dismount. Their highest scoring routine came from freshman ​Eileen Imbus ​who scored a 9.725.
The Sooners finished 1st with a 197.475, Iowa State came in second with a 193.850 and ASU came in third with a 193.225.
