No. 2 OU To Host Tri-Meet Against ASU & Iowa State
The Oklahoma Sooners are coming off a double meet weekend where they took first at both meets. The first meet took place against California and TWU where the Sooners notched a 197.125. They continued a strong weekend with a 197.050 against Arkansas and jumped up to No. 2 in the country after their two wins.

Oklahoma will look towards seniors Haley Scaman and Keeley Kmieciak to lead the team to a win against ASU and Iowa State this Friday, Jan 22nd. Scaman and Kmieciak have both been consistent throughout the season so far. Scaman has scored a 9.9 on vault and a 9.925 on floor this season.

Junior Chayse Capps is also a key competitor for Oklahoma and has competed in the all-around every meet this season, along with Kmieciak who is currently ranked 8th in the all-around. The Sooners will also look towards event specialist junior McKenzie Wofford who is currently ranked No. 1 on bars with her 9.925 average.

The Arizona Sun Devils will travel to Oklahoma in hopes of still improving their scores. Despite losing to the Huskies, the Sun Devils had some high scores that they will look for on Friday. Senior Taylor Allex used her power to score a 9.9 on vault and floor to help the Sun Devils raise their team scores on both events. The Sun Devils will also look to senior Allie Salas who scored a 9.75 on vault and a 9.825 on floor.

The Iowa State Cyclones will face off against Big 12 rival as well on Friday. This will be the first meet that Oklahoma and Iowa State will face off against a Big 12 rival this season.

The Cyclones will look to sophomore Haylee Young who scored a 9.825 on beam and a 9.9 on floor at the Ozone Classic, where Iowa scored a 194.20 for first place. Freshman Meghan Sievers will also be a key competitor for the team with her high scoring bars and floor routines.

The meet will be at the Lloyd Noble Center and will begin at 6:45 p.m.
