Introducing Oleg Juruc - Artist, Alegria

OLEG JURUC Artist, Alegria
Hello to all Cirque du Soleil fans, my name is Oleg Juruc, I am from Moldova.

I have been performing in Las Vegas and all over the U.S.A for the past five years with my German Wheel act and as a Russian Bar porter. During all this time being a performer I have always dreamed of becoming an artist of Cirque du Soleil.

One day I received a phone call from my friend asking me if I would be interested to send my demo with my German Wheel act, because Cirque du Soleil was looking for new talents. After hearing that, my first thought was: WOW this could be my dream coming true. After little while I received an invitation to the Cirque du Soleil audition in Las Vegas!

I would like to mention that this audition was the biggest step in my life. It was a pretty big challenge, because I was little bit worried about auditioning: this is my dream so it has to be my best performance! The minute I got in, meeting everybody left me such a positive impression. I knew I shouldn't be worried about anything, because seeing how everybody was so friendly.

At the end of the first day of presenting acts they told me that I passed the first step. I told myself GOOD JOB! The second day audition was wonderful with lots of fun and joy.

A little while later I received a phone call in regards to me taking part in specific training as a Russian Bar porter. This was great news for me to hear!

There begins my journey in Montreal, Canada, a lovely place to be trained with wonderful people around. For me it was a joy and exciting to be part of many different things: performing, acting, dancing, martial arts, drumming, singing and much more. To be honest, the three months that I trained, it felt like vacation full of excitement.

Guess what? After the training was complete my dream came true: I received an offer to become a Russian Bar porter in a beautiful show, Alegria!
