Cirque du Soleil will be on hand at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships in Ohio in April 2011 so that the Casting team can introduce themselves to the coaches and athletes taking part in this great event.

Currently more than 35 former NCAA gymnasts can be found on-stage living the life of a Cirque du Soleil artist. 50% of our cast comes from sports disciplines such as artistic, rhythmic and acrobatic gymnastics, as well as trampoline, tumbling, diving and synchronized swimming, and urban acrobatic disciplines. Since athletes are such an important part of our casts, our talent scouts are keeping a close eye on what is happening on the sport scene worldwide to follow the evolution of the disciplines and see the amazing achievements of high level sportswomen and men.

Acrobatic talent scout Stacy Clark will be present at the competition in Ohio and available to talk with coaches and athletes about the various on-stage career opportunities at Cirque du Soleil is offering to athletes after their competitive career. This is your chance to learn first-hand about what we’re looking for. If you would like to schedule a meeting with Stacy, please contact her now at stacy.clark@cirquedusoleil.com.
