The SEC Championships always delivers incredible gymnastics and this year there were some incredible leotards as well. Below are our top five leotards that stood out with their unique and gorgeous designs. Make sure to tell us which was your favorite using the poll at the bottom of the blog.


5. Auburn
 
Auburn plays off of their unique school colors in this gorgeous and flattering leo. The elegant orange and white ribbons that twist around the sleeves are the highlight. The rhinestone burst on the chest is a necessary but simple addition and the rhinestone accents along the ribbons also add beautiful details to the bold design. Finally, the UA on the hip is a minor detail but makes a huge difference. It pulls everything together and balances out the details of the top. 

4. Georgia
 
This leo makes a bold statement with a simple but elegant design. The leo uses metallic material that shines on it’s own, especially the red sleeves which are flattering to gymnasts’ movements. The black trim at the end of the sleeves with the concentration of rhinestones is a small yet crucial detail to pull the leo together. Of course, we can’t forget about the big Georgia “G” right in the middle, which screams school spirit, yet is still tasteful.

3. LSU
 
We’re not sure exactly what’s going on with LSU’s leo but we love whatever it is! LSU is another team that has had some very unique leos and we love that they play off their school mascots and symbols. This leo uses an asymmetric design with two different colored sleeves- LSU purple and gold. On the body and into one of the arms is an artsy depiction of the LSU tiger (we think). We love the creativity here and this leo really stands out with the bold design.

2. Kentucky
 
Kentucky has been making a splash this season with their unique and intricate leos. This leo starts with a simple asymmetric design using their rich royal blue and a pure white. The accents, however, are what really make the leo pop with a scattering of rhinestones all over the blue, and the swirly design on the white. While the colors and angle are sharp and bold, the swirls and rhinestones add a feminine feel for the perfect balance. 

1. Florida
 
This leo is very similar to Kentucky’s but has a very different feel. They have the same blue and white combination and even similar scattering of rhinestones. However, Florida’s has more of a fluid and elegant design while Kentucky’s is more hard cut. Florida’s leo has a sliver of white that extends along the chest along with the concentration of rhinestones that is very flattering. The mesh sleeves also add another dimension to what might seem like a plain leo at first glance. And finally, we love the cute but classy “Florida” along the hip.
