Dragulescu competed at his first Olympic Games in 2004 where he helped Romania secure the bronze medal as a team. He also qualified to vault finals where he successfully competed the Dragulescu, but fell on his second vault to place third. Dragulescu competed at the 2008 Olympics where he suffered a similar fate - nailing his first vault and falling on his second, but this time failed to earn a medal.

While Dragulescu doesn't have any Olympic Gold medals in his resume, he has earned eight World Championship gold medals- four on vault and four on floor.
