Luan Peszek Named USAG Vice President Of Program Development
Former vice president of women's program, Luan Peszek has moved into a new role at USA Gymnastics as the vice president of program development. This change comes two days after Rhonda Faehn began her official duties as the senior vice president of women's program.

Faehn resigned from her role as the University of Florida head coach to accept her new position at USAG. Faehn lead the Gators to three consecutive national championships, their most recent just last month.

Press release via USAG:

USA Gymnastics has named Luan Peszek of Indianapolis as vice president of program development. Peszek will work closely with both the president and chief operating officer to prioritize, identify, create and develop programs to grow the USA Gymnastics disciplines and enhance athlete opportunities.

“Luan is uniquely suited to take on this important role,” said Steve Penny, president of USA Gymnastics.  “She has extensive knowledge of gymnastics, and I am confident she can help advance initiatives across the sport.”

Peszek will work with each of the disciplines on initiatives that are important to their growth and viability, with the immediate focus on men’s gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, and acrobatic gymnastics as well as strategies for collegiate gymnastics.

In 1988, Peszek joined USA Gymnastics as the publications director.  As her responsibilities evolved, her title became managing director of communications and was most recently vice president of women’s program.
